EMDR Intensives

EMDR Intensives: Focused, Transformative Trauma Work in Less Time

Sometimes, weekly therapy isn’t enough—or just isn’t realistic. Life is busy. Your pain feels urgent. Or maybe, you’re simply ready for something more immersive and efficient. EMDR Intensives offer a powerful alternative: a condensed, accelerated format that helps you create real momentum in a shorter amount of time.

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve already done years of healing work, intensives can help you move through emotional blocks that just won’t budge in traditional weekly sessions. In just a few days, we’ll go deep into the root causes of your distress and begin to clear them—so you can experience lasting change, faster.

This focused approach allows us to stay in the work without interruption, helping your brain access and reprocess memories in a more fluid and integrated way. The results are often faster, deeper, and more sustainable than weekly therapy alone.

Who Are EMDR Intensives For?
EMDR Intensives are especially helpful for:

People who’ve done therapy before but still feel stuck

Those navigating a recent trauma or life-changing event

High-achieving professionals with limited weekly availability

Clients wanting fast, focused relief from chronic anxiety or distress

First responders, medical professionals, and caregivers needing intensive support

Anyone feeling ready for a breakthrough or a new phase of healing

Whether you’re just beginning or returning to therapy with a new goal, EMDR intensives can meet you where you are.

What Is an EMDR Intensive?

An EMDR intensive is a series of extended therapy sessions—typically 3-6 hours/day—offered over one or more days. These sessions follow a customized plan and are structured to support deeper emotional processing in a safe, supported environment.

Instead of spending months ramping up and winding down in weekly sessions, intensives let us stay with the work. That continuity often leads to faster breakthroughs, reduced symptom load, and a clearer sense of resolution.

You’ll receive a full treatment experience that includes preparation, processing, and integration—all within a carefully designed container.

What’s Included in an Intensive

Each intensive is tailored to you. Your experience may include:

A pre-intensive intake session to clarify goals and prepare

A personalized EMDR treatment plan

Half-day or full-day EMDR sessions (typically 3–6 hours/day)

Optional somatic or mindfulness-based tools to support nervous system regulation

A post-intensive follow-up session to integrate your progress

Sessions are available both in-person in Wenatchee, WA and online for clients across Washington state.

Why Choose an Intensive Format?

More progress in less time – Ideal for those wanting to fast-track their healing

Deep focus – No weekly stop-starts, no distractions

Safe and supported – Carefully structured to prevent overwhelm

Customized to you – Based on your history, goals, and nervous system needs

If you’ve felt frustrated with the pace of traditional therapy—or you’re ready for a big shift—an EMDR intensive may be the breakthrough you’ve been looking for.
